CIRED at CICED 2016
Theodor Connor, CIRED Chairman, had been given the opportunity to present CIRED during CICED 2016 that was held in Xi'An (China) from 10-13 August 2016 (his presentation is available here); He also gave a keynote speech on Distribution Grids - The active link between generation and consumption.

The CIRED Directing Committee met in Stockholm on 14 June 2013. All the 18 directing countries were represented.

New CIRED Chairmen appointed
At its meeting on 14 June 2013 in Stockholm, the Directing Committee appointed:
- Theodor Connor, Germany as CIRED Chairman (previously Technical Committee Chairman)
- Emmanuel De Jaeger, Belgium as Technical Committee Chairman (previously chairman of CIRED Technical Session 2)
