Is there an individual membership?

CIRED does not offer individual memberships. Instead, we encourage professionals to participate through their country’s National or Liaison Committee, join our Working Groups, or attend our conferences and events.

Can a CIRED event be held in my country?

Yes, we are open to hosting events in any city/country that can accomodate our needs. If you’re interested in bringing a CIRED event to your country, please contact your National or Liaison Committee or reach out to CIRED directly.

How can I become a member of a National or Liaison Committee?

To join a National or Liaison Committee, you must be involved in the electricity distribution sector within your country. Our committees consist of representatives from key sectors like manufacturing, electricity supply, research, and consulting. If you’re interested, please contact your local National Committee or professional association linked with CIRED.

How can I become a member of a Working Group?

If you’re interested in joining a CIRED Working Group, we recommend reaching out to your National or Liaison Committee. Working Group membership is typically based on expertise, and we welcome professionals who can contribute to advancing electricity distribution. Nominations and invitations are usually handled through committees or direct involvement in CIRED activities.
